Green Glue Noiseproofing Clips
Reduce sound transmission right across the frequency range; improves soundproofing by decoupling the wall and ceiling from the studs and joists; acts as both spring and damper to isolate and absorb sound; vastly superior to resilient mounts.
Don't be deceived by it's simple looks, when installed at the recommended spacings the Green Glue Noiseproofing Clip is "tuned" for the job.
Recommended spacings:
- Align furring channel vertically and space them no more than 600mm apart.
- Place clips within 100mm of each end of the furring channel.
- Space clips no more than 900mm apart on the furring channel; i.e. use 4 clips per furring channel in a room with a 2400 to 2700 ceiling.
Estimating Quantities: Approximately 3 to 4 clips per square metre of wall or ceiling.
Note for furring channel, Green Glue Noiseproofing Clip is compatible with the Rondo Key-Lock 24mm Cyclonic Ceiling Batten product no. 303.
