‘I have been conducting bands in the hall for the best part of 10 years now and I can tell you the difference is amazing!! I feel it has helped to enhance the sound coming of the stage giving it more clarity. The amount of reverb prior to the paneling was so much that note articulation was just lost. It is even noticeable when speaking in there. A big test for it will be in Week 8 of Term 2 when there is a large concert band workshop in the hall with around 80 students al playing as a band down on the floor in the main part of the hall. In years past it has been very taxing on our hearing and voices, however I think we will hear a huge improvement now.’
